The playtest for Mons is on the calendar for the weekend of 25/26 May (Memorial Day Sat & Sun).
Mons 1914 is the follow-on game to Gallipoli 1915, which I published through GMT. Mons has the same rules system, but it is a simpler situation - the BEF and the Germans in their first meeting engagement in Belgium in 1914. No trenches, no barbed wire.
I have already played the historical situation several times. This test will be of the big "what if" scenario that assumes that both sides knew that the other was present and lined up all their forces for a big battle. In other words, "all in and go for it." This will see a lot more activity than the historical battle.
Suited for 4 players (two teams of two), possibly two teams of three.
I will teach the system.
Saturday 10:3am - 5:30pm
Sunday 10am - 5:30pm
Ending hours are flexible, depending on attendees and the results of the play test.
Cheers
Geoff
