Commands & Colors: Ancients allows you to re-fight epic battles of the ancient world. This is one of GMT's most popular series of games using a simple, accessible, block game format.
Units in both armies can only move and fight when ordered. The command playing cards supply those orders, providing an element of luck that creates a fog of war and presents players with both challenges and opportunities. You must maximize your opportunities by playing your command cards judiciously. How well you handle the diverse units, their weapons, and the terrain, will determine victory.
This session will be using the Epic variant rules that allows for team play. If you ever wanted to see what it was like to command the center or a wing in a great ancients battle, then this might be the session that you are looking for.
This event has a limited number of open slots. Admission is free to members of Metro Seattle Gamers and to non-members of the club, who will be admitted as guests of the game's host, Luther Harris. Members of MSG are requested to login to their user accounts when they register for this game.
